Report Collection 8 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 0
My credit report has a set that is about $480. It is not medical it is a sprint bill. It was posted 3 months back so it is hurting my credit. I am trying to purchase a home. They want me to settle for $190 but if I settle they will not take away the debt of my credit report they will just update the record to prove settled.

1. Should I pay it and have it updated? It will most likely doing the credit report over again but it will show that it is settled for less or something.

2. My score is 646 if I don’t settle it . Will the loan corporation let me take the loan? It is not a medical collection. Some say I have to pay for it or else I will not get approved. Some say I don’t have to pay for it. Do I have to pay for it or not? Will a bank support you with a non medical collection?
