Can i let a property i have just remortgaged? 4 Months, 1 Week ago
I have just remortgaged my house to raise capital to purchase a business. The business has living accomodation in which i intend to live. I therefore want to rent out my current property in which i have lived for 8 years. Will my mortgage lender want to move me onto a buy to let mortgage or just charge a fee for their permission to let.

Hi Jonny,

It depends on a few factors, for example who the lender is, how much equity you have, how much the mortgage payment is and likely rent.

You may need to move to a buy to let if the lender isnt happy for any of the reasons above..

If you want some professional help give me a shout,

We can arrange a mortgage if that would be better for you.........
