We are trying to sell our former airey house. It was repaired in 1985 under the leeds system. Our buyers are with the skipton building society. They have been upfront with them about the airey house from day one. Valuation report OK, but when put to the underwriter they have said they will only lend if work was carried out on Leeds 2 system! All the paperwork we have from the authority just mentions the leeds system. Advice please as to what we should do and do you know of which banks will loan on such properties without any problems?
