Just a quick reminder to anyone about to purchase a house, stamp duty will be payable on all purchases above £125k after 31st December 2009.

Also, be aware that you would need to complete by then in order to avoid the higher rate, exchange is not good enough.

Speak to your mortgage broker as soon as possible to ensure you have enverything in place for your purchase.
