Hi, not sure if this is in the right section but i really need advice and am hopeful (not in a malicious way of course) that somebody has been in a similar situation and is able to advise me.
i've had an eviction warrant on my property after i missed a single payment. it was simply an error that i missed the payment, i had the money in my account and i was certain i had paid it until i was told otherwise when i phoned to pay the following months installment. my financial situation is as steady as its always been and since i got the mortgage and my job is secure. it was simply a stupid oversight. i paid the 2 months installments immediately but the repossession procedure had already started. i got into some arrears over 12 months ago and i've been making regular payments on top of my mortgage repayments to pay off the arrears. my bank statements and wageslips that i've provided my lender will show that i am financially stable and can continue to pay the mortgage as well as the arrears. i'm hoping that this is just a normal procedure and they have to be strict in the current market and all will be well since i have paid and am able to continue. but, obviously, until the decision is made, i am in limbo, not knowing which way to jump. My lender is Northern Rock. All advice welcome and thanks in advance, especially for advice that raises a smile and can stop my missus from going out of her mind.
