Parents in trouble, can children help out? 2 Years, 10 Months ago
Currently only one of my parents are working and I still live at home. Unfortunately I have been made unemployed recently too. But my parents mortgage is massive! In four figures. My two older brothers both have houses and mortgages of their own (one is also unemployed). We don't want to loose the family home but what can we do to save it? Suggestions such as one of my brothers swapping houses with my parents or me and my two brothers chipping in to get a mortgage to buy off my parents.

I'm only 22 and at the moment wouldn't be able to earn more than £16K even if I was working. Can anyone give me some advice on this situation?

Hi Amy,

I have far too many questions to ask before I can give you any sort of answer.

I'm an independent mortgage broker for Worldwide FInancial Planning Ltd, give me a call - 01208 816667 - and we can talk things through and see if there are any options for you.
