TOPIC: Loan Towards Deposit?

Loan Towards Deposit? 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago
My wife and I are currently finding it hard to save for a deposit for a mortgage; we are saving but no-where near as fast as we would like.

What is the general concensus on getting a loan towards part of the deposit?

Has anyone done this? Are there any traps to avoid? After asking around friends and colleagues, apparently this is quite a common practice.

Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi There,

I'm an independent mortgage adviser.

In general terms; the amount you can borrow is _base_d on multiples of your income minus your liabilities. As a loan would be a liability, it will reduce the amount you can borrow. This is where a mortgage adviser comes in handy to let you know the best way to manage this to get the best possible deal for you.

I'd be happy to advise you on your mortgage needs and do not charge a fee.

I can also provide a quote for your loan.

Please call me on 07860 316 314 for further information.

Kind regards

Victoria
